ºûµûÖ±²¥

Students in the International Baccalaureate (IB) program at ºûµûÖ±²¥ High School took a field trip to the Hudson River School Art Trail, an exhibit at the Thomas Cole National Historic Site, and the Olana State Historic Site. The trip furthered the learning students had done during their Theory of Knowledge course, particularly in the areas of knowledge of art and history. The students will be studying the Hudson River School movement and artists, and considering knowledge questions. During the trip, students participated in two hands-on art activities that allowed them to explore the meaning of landscape art for themselves and create their own interpretations of landscape art.
