ºûµûÖ±²¥ High School librarian, AmyJo Southworth, research teacher Erin Garland, and student teacher Megan MacFarlane brought their science research student, Fabiola Cherizard, to the Eastern Suffolk BOCES School Library System and Brookhaven National Laboratory Partners in Science Program. The annual program featured an amazing presentation on nuclear fission and the nuclear landscape from Dr. Alejandro Sonzogni, the Chair of the Nuclear Science and Technology department at Brookhaven National Laboratory. Fabiola, a freshman, had the chance to sit with scientists from Brookhaven National Laboratory, talk about her own research, and gather resources from the lab's database to support her experiment.
